Our All Inclusive policy offers the following product features and benefits:

  • Emergency Medical Coverage: Expenses for medical emergencies and non-GHIP emergencies that include hospital costs, emergency dental, sickness, emergency professional services, emergency evacuation, flight accident and travel accident. In addition coverage is also provided for the return of dependent children, return of a vehicle, return to trip destination, return of remains, pet return and bedside companion travel.

  • Trip Cancelation or Interruption: Eligible benefits also include trip interruption, next occupancy, trip delay and supplier default. 

  • Baggage Insurance and Assistance Services: Coverage for baggage and personal effects, or baggage delays. Plus, LiveTravel™ emergency assistance, 24-hour emergency assistance, and concierge service are also included.

FAQs About All Inclusive Single Trip Cover

  • Do I Need A Government Health Insurance Plan To Travel?
  • Yes, you must be covered by GHIP or UHIP for the full duration of your trip to be eligible for the maximum amount of benefits under the plan, which is $2 million CAD per person. If you do not have GHIP coverage, your aggregate limit for all emergency medical benefits will be limited to $20,000.

  • Will The Plan Cover My Medical Expenses If I Am Unwell During My Trip?
  • You will be covered for any treatment you need as a result of a covered accident or emergency and for losses from sudden, unexpected and unforeseeable circumstances. You will be covered for hospital expenses if you are hospitalized for at least 48 hours, emergency dental treatment, the cost of a flight for someone to be with you if you are hospitalized for 3 or more days, emergency professional services, the cost of your homeward journey, and the cost of the airfare to transport you to your destination when you are well again.

  • How Can You Help My Family If I Am Involved In An Accident?
  • If you need to be admitted to hospital for more than 24 hours, we will cover the cost of returning a dependent child to their departure point. We will cover the cost of getting your vehicle home, and we will even cover the cost of transporting your pet to your departure point if necessary.

  • I Have A One-Year-Old Daughter - Can I Add Her To My Medical Insurance?
  • The medical coverage as described in the policy will be extended to your child at no extra cost - as long as your child is between 15 days and two years, does not occupy a seat, is a member of your family, and travels with you.

  • Apart From Expenses Associated With An Accident Or Illness, What Else Does The Package Cover?
  • We cover trip cancellation and will reimburse you the amount (less the non-refundable cost) if you cancel for a reason specified as a covered risk. We also cover lost, damaged or delayed baggage, interruptions or delays to your trip, supplier default, and in some cases the next occupancy charge if your travel companion has to cancel his or her trip. In addition, we offer a Concierge Service to help you while you are travelling, our BagTrak Service can help you track down lost luggage, and our Travel Hotline can help you re-book flights or make last minute reservations if something does go wrong.
